I've been having issues with my power steering pump, but i was wondering if i should just take it out, rather replacing it? I plan on making room later down the road, (talking months and months later) in the engine bay with AC delete and power steering delete, as well as more cleaning up. Out of curiosity, how many DD's are there without a power steering pump, and how is it?

I know how hard it is to steer, i'm pretty much use to it, but i have know idea if i am getting the full effect because my pump hesitates when steering giving me somewhat slight help in steering. But i feel that it is not much.

I drive without mine because my rack is leaking right now. It's not TOO bad when you get used to it, but it's not that nice either. Once I get my rack rebuilt I'll be going back.

Brave souls LOL. Driving a 2g without power steering is horrible until you get use to it, and believe me it's not quick and easy haha. If there is a choice I say keep it.

It's gonna suck. You'll get used to it but you're gonna wish you had power steering. Although, of you took it out and got a manual rack it would be a lot better.
