Which BOV? [Merged 3-8] what bov best bov

I am looking at replacing my BOV. I was looking at the Greddy XS, but I seem to be seeing people with Greddy problems aplenty. What BOV do you like? Why?

Also, what is a safe PSI for a stock turbo? I hear rumors that anything beyond 14 will raise hell on the engine.

HKS SSQBOV all the way Although I am slightly biased from using it myself. Heh, I remember also first hearing the TurboXS RFL and thinking it would become illegal after causing increased heart attacks among elderly.

Anybody replaced the 'fin inserts' in their HKS SSQBOV with one of these two different sounding ones?

HKS...Greddy's are shit. The threads have been known to strip out, and the build quality has been greatly criticized.

Hey guys i need suggestions on a bov. ill be pushing 21 pounds of boost. i was thinking of 1g crushed, turbo xs type h or rfl, or hks ssq. i dont wnat the greddy type s. What do you guys like out of these and have experance with i know everyone likes the 1g crushed but i really want teh turbo xs waht you guys think and what ones u like?

There really is no one best BOV.... they all are about the same, some with advantages and some with disadvantages... it comes down to personal preference

well im going ot spend alot of money on parts and i thought i could save money cause a 1g bov would only cost 40 bucks around. Im really intrested in the hks ssq and the turbo xs. Has anybody used the turbo xs and like/dislike it? Couldnt i jsut buy the 1g bov and eventually upgrade it to an after market one easily?

1g is your all around best bet.I have no experience with TIALs, but most other BOV's flutter and have nasty pressure fluctuations.I am not speaking "coolness" or sound wise either.I have tried quite a few of them, and I settled on a greddy typs s(close to the worst of them all) out of lazyness.
