Where to tap for power during cranking

This site may earn a commission from merchant affiliate links, including eBay, Amazon, and others.

There's 2 ignitions. One powers the ecu and essentials, and the 2nd one powers the radio, etc. When you put the key in the start position it disconnects ignition 2 while cranking. Once you go back to the ON position both ignitions get power.

With prosport gauges it's annoying because you turn the key ON and it sweeps, while cranking it turns off, and once the engine starts (ON position) it sweeps again.

I found this picture. Hope it helps someone in the future
