. He's usually pretty quick at responding to me. you can call or txt him as well @ 1 (317) 339-2145 he doesn't mind its his buisness line. I'd shoot him a txt simply saying in need of 2g fwd race/cryo axles and you can even mention john from Kauai said to contact you. He will know and give you a small discount! What would you guys consider to be a good 60 ft time on street tires?
. Good 60', street tires and fwd is just a joke to think about. But to answer your question anything better than a 2.0 60' would be good I suppose. If you really want good 60' times and want to do it fwd than slicks, axles and suspension should be your first stop on the list, instead of hopelessly fighting street tires!Thanks.1.9 is pretty good on street tires.
I dont think anyone who is serious about racing FWDs tries to launch on street tires.
An otherwise stock FWD with elevated power requires very judicious footwork.
Some prep goes a long way. Solid Mounts and Bushings, AWD half-shafts, LSD, a dead-nuts alignment and good tires can make it much more manageable.
I still have to set up my boost-by-gear, order a Staging brake/Magnus launch control device, install and play with a proper suspension then begin to work on fighting weight transfer. This means some limiters up front and much stiffer rear springs are on the list as well.
It's not the easiest or cheapest route to hook 'n book with a FWD but it's certainly not impossible either.
