When should my 14B spool?

I was just wondering when my 14B should spool?

Its ported a bit, but besides that all stock, boost and all. And what is the most accurate way to see when your getting full boost? Just cruise in 3rd gear, around 2k, and floor it? When it hits 9lbs thats the sppol up correct? I just wasn't sure what gear its usually done in, because my turbo spools alot slower in 5th, than in the lower gears!

Well, I'm running 17 PSI on my 1st Gen and I make max PSI in 1st at 3000 RPM's, after I shift between gears it usually drops maybe 5 PSI between shifts with about 1/2 second to max boost again.

If you floor it in 5th at like 30-40 you wont max max boost for a while =)
