When can i post in other forums/get rid of my new member status?

I've been a member on here for quite some time and have made a few posts.... How can i get my member status bumped up so that I can post in the F/S section and other forums.
I'm not new to DSMs and have done quite alot of work to mine/my friends, but yet im still viewd as a newbie on here....
Any help would be great!

You need enough rep points, I believe. You should probably read through the rep point system description. There are some people like you and there are a lot of other people who are complete newbs and would swamp the other forums with newb questions if some sort of system wasn't in place.

Spread your DSM knowledge by helping answer questions on the newb forum until you get enough rep points to get one green box. Then you can post on all other forums.

You need 10 or more rep points and a minimum of 25 posts. From there, you get a green box and become proven.

Reputation points are given to you by proven members for helping others or just in general making a good, informative post.

If nobody ever thinks your posts are good, then you will never receive rep. points, and therefore never become proven.
