Whatto pay for 6 Bolt Block

Hey guys just a quick question long story short I blew my engine up and need to find a new one. I found a 6 bolt block everything is there and is all cleaned up looks solid. The guy said to throw him an offer and I honestly have no idea what to offer. I found a 2g head and valve cover for 75 and I would like to build the 6 bolt block with the 7 bolt head. Any ideas on numbers?

$50 is what I find them for. Up to $100.

Sorry not just the block pistons rods crank the whole thing. He sold the head seperately but everything else is there. Change the price? I meant to put that in the initial post.

It depends on the condition. Are you planning on just slapping the head on the block and hoping everything works? I paid 50 for my block and 150 for my crank in good condition/uncut. The rods and pistons are not worth much at all, especially the pistons.

I would recommend getting that head checked out and resurfaced before you put everything together.

If it's complete I would offer him $100. Mainly because if you are going to build it, the only thing you should really want to pay for right now is the block itself and the crank. I'd say $50 each isn't a bad deal at all. And worst case scenario, you offer $100 and he counters with like $175 and you go from there negotiating with him.
