What Should I Do Now?

My 7bolt motor is destroyed. I'm upgrading to a 6bolt now, and i want to get the car running asap. I found some jdm 6bolts for 1500 shipped that supposedly have perfect compression and around 35-50k on them. That is one option. The second option would be to buy a used 6bolt off someone and get just rebuild it. I dont know which option is more cost effiicient and what not, so can ppl with experience help me out?

This would depend on your time, money, and mechanic ability. The quickest and easiest way to do it would be to just buy a good block to throw in there. If you don't mind your car being down longer and have the ability to rebuild it yourself.. you could buy a used 6bolt and rebuild the internals with some forged stuff to make it real strong.

I'm on a budget for time and money. 6bolts are pretty strong even with factory specs. As far as time goes, I want the car running as soon as possible because i am inconviencing other members of my family by borrowing their cars. I know a good amount about cars, but rebuilding an engine is a little of my league, and the car is sitting a shop right now.

just get the 6 bolt motor and drop it in for 1500 fast and not a bad price either... I am not sure what all is involved though.
