hey i have a 95 tsi awd i just bought. i replaced the hg and now it's still mixing. but when i flushed it yesterday i found that the oil filter housing bolt where the oil filter screws on was extremely loose. i took it out by hand. i've replaced it and was just wondering if that coulda been my problem? and if you think it's my block as i do, where have you all gotten your blocks from?

"phunny" Could you please state your question using specific terms, and complete words.

For example you replaced the "Hg" what is the Hg?, and stated that it is "still mixing", what is still mixing?

It would also be helpful to know what the problem is, and what you have done so far to fix it.

Did you have the head resurfaced when you replaced the head gasket? Why did you replace the head gasket?

There are other places or problems that you may want to look into.
1: the oil cooler leaking oil into the coolant system
2: cracked center section on turbo (if it still has a water cooled center)
3: cracked block
4: cracked head
