Thank you both for cluttering a thread with your arguments.

Anyone know if ATR made a full exhaust or did they just make
Those downpipes and the o2 housings

About 75% of the "arguement" was directly related to the topic at hand. It only went awry near the end. My apologies.

And no they do not make a full exhaust. Just O2/DP.

Yeah, because the restriction of the tdo5 turbine its hooked to is nothing in comparison to the turbulence, and the guy who owns it has hundred dollar bills running out his ass.

Get a clue ####face.

Lol, I hold degrees in Physics, and Mechanical Engineering. I"m also completing a PhD, in ME. I guess my dick is bigger than yours.

From my experience, a BSME doesn't mean you know shit. I teach classes full of pompus asses just like you that claim to know this and that. When push comes to shove, put a real world problem on their hands, and they haven't got a clue.

QFT!

I'm a mechanical engineer, what's your degree in?

My "opinion" happens to be based in a field of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and physics, not what "looks good".

Andrew, calm down, its nice you finally graduated with your engineering degree. You don't need to smear it in everyone's face.

Your posts can be borderline bashing sometimes, and most definitely insulting to members. Please keep on topic and answer the question, or do not post a response.

As for everyone else, please, lets stay on topic. The OP has a simple question, I know its winter and people are bored, but dick-swinging contests are for Highboost forums, not here.

Thank you.

How many of you would be interested in a 3 inch o2 housing with 2 bolt flange? I bet I could get it done for you all! There has to be a demand first though!

I am sure you could get decent interest. The problem is that almost all of the 3" inlet 2-bolt flange downpipes on the market normally leave absolutely nothing for fastener clearance at the flange, causing sealing issues. A 3" two-piece mits-flange O2 housing, to 3" V-band connection downpipe and a quality 3" flex section would probably sell better as it is way easier to service. If you have the time to spend on making a jig, it may be worthwhile to do so.

I do not recall but is the megan downpipe a bottleneck? I understand the whole V-band theory as far as ease of working on it. BUT I am afraid that there may not be enough people who would drop the money on a downpipe and o2 housing together, It would possibly be in the 6-700$ range and I know how DSM'rs can be so Im trying to avoid high cost.

Other than that, have fun with your bottleneck 2.5'' O2 housings.
NO 16G setup needs a 3" recirculated o2 housing. That's just asking for uncontrollable boost creep right there.

damn although i wanted to state an opinion and thoughts, the way this thread is going i'm gonna turn my head and walk the other way LOL

FYI, Freelancers are not permitted to solicit business in the tech forums. :thumb:

nobody said I was the one making or selling them. So until I advertise that you have no right.

Edit**** Paul Volk is also not a vendor but he has advertised things many times before what about the new thread about the intake manifold? Thats not advertising or soliciting hey? Im sorry that you are a big bad moderator who feels as though he has the right to be a 5 year old. All you people complain about how we dont have this or that. Here I am willing to make things happen and I get cut down. :nono:

No idea how the real world works.

Not if the recirc merges far enough downstream and at an acute enough angle.

Man if I had a dollar for every time Andrew whips out his Engineering degree I'd be a rich man.

On another note, cxracing also makes an o2 eliminator DP. I bought the 2g version and will be putting it on shortly. Not the highest quality but I just wanted to test it out. Here is the 1g version.

You know, it's amazing the amount of actual engineers that PM me with their supportive responses that are afraid to chime in on subject because of the flamers on this forum. You may want to take this into account before you attempt to libel me any farther.

Wow, just when I thought these had all been killed with fire....China strikes again. :ohdamn:

Hope you enjoy removing your turbo just to drop the oil pan. :D

As an FYI, stating the obvious truth of your actions is not libel, and you would want them to not take it any further, not farther.

With that, I am done with my comments on this subject.

Thank you, Mr Grammar Nazi.

My apologies for not being entirely sober at this point in time (I do wake up at 5am for my REAL job).

Sorry to interrupt, but does the above count as verification of Godwin's Law or does it have to be Hitler, himself? (I never could figure that out.)

And please do provide the "amazing" number when you get the chance. We started a pool in the back room and I put my money on "two if they only have to claim to be engineers; zero if they have to actually have an engineering degree."

Mine was an HTA68, not a 16g, but I also am not worried about boost creep, if anything I was worried about the boost falling off up top not being too high. :)

Engineering comes with a respect to ethics. No, I will not name names. Deal with it.

Haha, no I have had time off, and several positions while off and while being a full time student. Put your E-#### away.

LOL. What constitutes and actual engineer? Guys that drive trains? Someone with a piece of paper? Someone with PE tacked to the end of their name? M.S.? Or just some scumbag that claims to "engineer" stuff every time he gets tape measure out?

I should PM him just so you loose the pool. LOL.

Wow, that was a fun read. More exonerating posting by qualified member, yet again.
