I have a 92 laser rs Awd totally rebuild engine with mahle 20 over pistons, eagle h beam rods, stock crank ,bc valve springs ,ti retainers ,new valves ,bronze guides 272 intake and exhaust cams, 3 in turbo back exhaust and probably a few odds and ends i forgot. Just wanted to know where I need to go before turnin up the boost. I have a gizmo ms-Ibc boost contoller but it is just being used as a boost gauge right now. I'm coming up on 1k miles on the engine and everything seems to be running fine. Just wanted to check with the pros so that I don't tear anything up.

Are you running stock turbo? You can push the stock turbo to about 14-15 psi safely. After that you're running out of fuel. You'll need a fuel pump, AFPR, Injectors, and something to tune the injectors such as ECMLink if you want to run more or if you plan on moving to a larger turbo in the future. Also consider replacing the crap 1g MAF. It is easily overran and will not read accurately when flowing ~30lb/min of air.

I'm still running the stock turbo. if I remember right it is good for around 14psi which is fine for me right now I'm just trying to max out the setup I have now before I worry about upgrading turbos or anything.

I have a 255lph pump and a aromotive fpr they are just not installed yet. So it is safe to run 14psi without the pump and regulator? I have a logger just have not used it yet.

have you considered bigger injectors yet? this is a pretty critical addition to the wally and afpr if you're going to swap out turbos eventually. 650's or 550's will be a great addition to the list on the stock turbo

Always better to have more fuel then not enough.

I thought about the injectors but I just want to Max out the stock turbo before I go any farther. But since were on the subject I was thinking about a evo 3 16g when it come upgrade time are there any other turbos you guys would suggest?
