I have a 98 gst. My car car is completely stock besides a 3in. catback, mbc, and a boost gauge, i am wanting to know what all do i need to bring up boost. I am shooting for 16 psi.

i forgot to mention i just recently upgraded to a 14b

It all depends on how much boost you are looking for. A walbro 255 and a boost controller could work. If you want high boost you will need to tune it with something. Safc or dsmlink your pick. Just research it with how much boost you want

A Walbro 255lph pump requires an AFPR to keep fuel pressure down. A 190lph pump would suit a 14b at up to 20-ish psi, but wouldn't require an AFPR.

But before turning the boost up, make sure you've done your maintenance and boost leak tests. No sense in turning the boost up if you're going to leak half of it away before it hits the engine.

And I trapped 114mph with nothing to tune with.

And Joe Bucci can run a 10 second timeslip with a 16g. Doesn't mean that everyone can. We're just saying that to get the most out of the car, turbo, engine, etc. it's BEST to have something to log AND/OR tune with. And if you want both, it's best to do so with something along the lines of Link, MAFT, Evoscan, whatever. Regardless, a datalogger should be the second thing on the list of must-do's before turning the boost up. The first is maintenance. :)
