Hi. I am Justin and I am new to the DSM scene.I recently owned a 2001 Civic Ex coupe
and finally got tired of losing to everything with a motor in it. I plan on gettine a 95-99 GST. At first i wanted a 97-99 GST Because of the spoiler and the rimsand front bumper, but the more subtle styling of the 95 and 96 are growing on me but from what I have read the 95-96 are more likely to C.Walk.So I am about to ask for advice, what are some things I should look for or avoid in a turbo'd eclipse before I decide to buy?I plan on not doing much to the exterior. What could I do to try to hide the fact I have a GST?I planned on buying a RS sticker for the back but I don't know where to find them.Anyone know?

Thanks for the help in advance.

I have an Eagle Talon DL. Thats the bottom of the barrel 1g DSM. I still have the stickers on it and it looks mostly stock to the untrained eyes. All but the sound of an external dump and a starion FMIC spell sleeper. Nobody else who has a vague knowledge of cars will know the difference as long as you dont have a f*ckin body kit, grapefruit launcher muffler, and tail lights with too many neons. Tint and stereo is cool tho. :thumb:

I can't agree with this, I have never been pulled over in my GS-T. I have been pulled over multiple times in my POS 96 neon daily driver. They can't pull you over just because your car is sporty.

Yes, but they can look for you and follow you waiting for you to do something even *slightly* illegal.

You will get targetted if you drive a sports car. Don't doubt that.

i get pulled over constantly. still haven't got a ticket just small town cops i think thats how they are trained is to pull over the faster car when two are both going 5 over i'm sure the fart can doesn't help and the errrr csssh from the blitz bov (which if you have one you know how loud they can get) but thats not to say that the "sports car" always gets pulled over my friend has a talon esi w/ a blitz kit and he never gets pulled over after awhile cops figure out who in the town drives fast or does something on the side to get those nice 19" motegi track lites =) :thumb:

This isn't even on topic anymore, much less "tech".
