The MOMO race airleather and alloy shift knob is what I have. I love it.

They sell different versions, one completely wrapped in 'airleather' and some that comes with the alloy portion either yellow, red or blue.

Edit*
It comes with different rubber caps to put on the top of the stick once you have removed the old shiftknob, and 3 screws turned with an allen wrench to attatch to the stick. You might not like that...and you have to crank them down real tight or else it will get loose over time.

I understand what your saying, but mine has yet to do that. Ive had it for about 5-6 months. Ill have to check it out. But DAMN it gets really hot in the summer. FYI - Keep a right handed mechanic glove in the car in the summer, thats what i used, worked great.
Yeah. Put the glove over the knob when you park, and it'll keep the sun from heating it up. Or, an old sock.

Ive actually got a couple.

I have an Evolution VIII knob, which rocks. Love it.

Also, the Momo leather/aluminum combo. Feels great as well.

im all about stock appearing. i had a greddy one which kicked ass but took it off due to the extreme cold in the morning, and the blazing hot during the day. LOL

i now have a 2g shift knob. LOVE it. but i will soon be using an EVO shift knob as money permits. pz

Stock 2G as well.

And I can shift plenty fast with it :p

4 cylinder 2003 hyundai Tiburon knob.

This knob is sweet, shorter then the 2g knob, fits perfectly on 1g and 2g with no gap in between the knob and boot. It looks awesome with an aluminum top and black leather/whatever it is covering the rest of the knob. Ill try and get a pic up of it. I have one on both my 1g and my 2g

who woulda thought that a new shift knob would be such a great thing! i got an 8ball shift knob from autozone here because ive always wanted one since i was a little kid (and a gas pedal shaped like a foot) and so now that i have a standard i got the knob. it just makes me feel so much more sure about my shifts and it lowered the height of the shifter by about a 1/4 inch. if you want to get that knob, know that you will need a size 10, metric tap and i believe the thread size was 1.25 but im not 100% sure. it just feels so good! anyone else have a knob they love?!

ya i have a billet shift knob some apc crap, but it looks really nice, and fits my hand perfectly.
shortened the throw, but anything is shorter then the horsecock.
the only thing i dont like is it doesnt meet the shift bag perfectly, but its only a quarter inch away from it.
looks nice

yeah mine doesnt meet the shift bag quite as close as the old one did, but its just so good in my hand, and you cant see a gap inbetween the knob and the bag, so its all good. plus its damn sexy and it just feels sooo good. what is the weight on the greddy? mine is .4lbs.

God, no, stop. My mind's eye is starting to bleed.

look, at least im not putting 22s and a big wing on my car. the foot shaped gas pedal is something ive wanted since i saw the brave little toaster years and years ago. LOL.

i second the greddy knob
i dunno if it was worth the money but it sure does feel damn good in your hand...i think the knobs weight is like 11 or 12 ounces...somthin like that

great knob:thumb:

My friend gave me his Evo 8 shift knob because his B&M shifter for his Evo came with a new knob. I like it better than the 2g.

Yeah I have the greddy counterweight knob also. I love it except for the cold, hot thing that was mentioned. My boot comes right up to it no problem. Before I put it on I took off the boot and wrapped electrical tape around the shifter so that when I put the boot on it would rest on top of the tape. Then I screwed on the knob and it pushed on the tape/boot and made a really nice secure mount for it. Works great :thumb:

Stock Honda shift knobs feel good to me since I'm a tight wad. I had one out of a 90 Civic that I liked and my brother had a ball style knob from an 80 Accord which I thought felt great although the shift boot doesn't go all the way up to the shifter.

There's one out there called the Greddy Counterweight, it's all metal, very heavy, and has an insert for the top showing the shift pattern.
I think that's what you're looking for.

That's what I have and it rocks :thumb:
