So i was working on my car and took the timing cover off. I put it back on and the car would start ver very roughly but wont rev at all. I have a feeling it is the CAS sensor on my 1995 talon. here are two pictures of something that was stuck in the cam gear when i re pulled the timing belt cover off. It looks like some kind of small sensor but i have no clue what its for. I start the car and its very rough and wont rev at all. Sounds like only 2 cylinders firing. Someone please help me

CAS is on the wrong side of the head I believe.

What you managed to drag through the cam gear I have no idea. Post pictures of the motor. Also check to make sure your timing belt isn't damaged and all your timing marks still line up. Your motor may have decided to kill itself.

cas on 2g's is behind the intake cam. I myself had no clue what was wrong with the cas or where the particle came from. When i unplug the cas plug no changes happen, when i unplug the cps sensor, it stalls and dies, that tells me that it is the CAS. I am planning on swapping to a 1g CAS that mounts on the passenger side of the car. Anyone got any helpful tips on doing this?
