What Does Your A/T DSM Top Out AT?

ive gone 127 totally stock. now all i have is i/h/e, and my car seems to crap out and lose power when it hits 100. nothing more after that. i dunno whats wrong with it.

I have turbo cams, timing gears, injectors and a turbo intake manifold with a pacesetter header and custom 3.5 in intake (cold air intake) and dyno tested at 195hp and tops out at 148mph and it's auto beats tsi's left and right but it sounds like turbo because of the cam gears sweet as hell got the engine part for 100.00 from redneck junk yard didn't know what they had

Ive got a 420a manual tranny....i know this is for a/t but ive gotten mine to 135, i was hitting about 5k RPM's in fifth....i got scared and stopped because that was fast as hell. I cruise at 100 all the time, thats no big deal, ive been to 120 a lot but always get scared of cops. oh well

This may be a little off topic but I could only get up to 106 mph in my 94 1.8 5spd. I could have gone higher but it would take too long.

GST is a 2.0 not 1.8 and my friends 1.8 goes 137 topped out 6K

I know a GST is 2.0. I have a black GS-T sitting that doesnt run but I am currently driving a 94 1.8. That is pretty quick. What kind of mods does he have done to it?

i dont have an a/t but my friend and i each got our n/t 5 speeds with intake and exhaust up to 140 side by side goin down the highway at around 2:30am with no one on the road. it was fun

I didn't try topping it out but my friend was driving (I was in the back seat w/ a girl and we had my other friend in the passenger seat (wich means a car full) and he got it to 120 and it stayed. Not bad for a full car with (at the time) Not a single mod

I am not lying but I actually had my 93 Laser up to 141. Seriously. It was just about completely stock I had a exhaust system and a few little mods. This was also N/T.

I have a stock 95 GS. I quit at 110 when I started to run out of road. That was with me, 2 friends, my subs, and 8 15-16 pound bowling balls

i klipped 148-149 in my eclipse with the auto tranny, but i was also 800 rpms past redline in fourth with the OD off. There was one other person in the car that saw this, and i will never ever go that fast again. The problem isn't getting it up there but how to control your car at that speed is.

BTW--- i have had transmission and motor problems ever since then
