Did a lil searching on our gearratios and worked on some graph i found... and i found out what our cars would top out if we redlined 5th gear... hope you guys can understand the graph pretty cool rite .... this is on 205/55/16 tires ..let me know what u guys think

Road conditions?
Elevation?

He used the gear ratios and wheels to figure out the top speed. Wether or not you have enough power because of elavation or horsepower or wind is a different matter all together. Hypothetically speaking, if you had perfect roads and lots of horsepower...thats where you would be topping out in your eclipse unless youve changed tires and gear ratios.

You sure about that 3rd gear? I can hit 100 in 3rd in my 97 GS.

There not going to be perfect, but they seem pretty close. i can hit 65 in 2nd, but only 120 in 4th. id say overall those are good. nice work

Yes i can also hit over 100 in 3rd gear i can hit excactly 103~105 with my 98 .. my friend in his 1995 eclipse can hit 95~98 in 3rd....


but then again its all about weight and elevation

I hit 145mph in my car today messing with a 350Z, I lost but hey i tried.

Those 350z's are mean......but I don't like the way they look. I almost bought a 300 ZX Twin Turbo.... that car was soooo fast....
