are they related to mopar in anyway?

Considering they're made by Chrysler, I'd say they have more in common with Mopar than they do Ralli///Art. That's for sure. It's a Neon block afterall...

Diamond Chrystler sebring, dodge neon, dodge avenger, mitsu eclipse

are all the cars the 420a is in

mopar is dodge plymouth, chrysler's performance brand, like ford racing or Gm perfomance.. Now saying that, the 420a is not a performance engine hence not a mopar product, just a dodge/chrysler product.

Now I have owned for prior dodge vehicles(all trucks) several mopar purple shaft cam(High lift Long duration, real lopey and badass) and mopars magnum 360's(2 one for each ramcharger)

Good point, but a Neon is mainly classified as a Mopar product so im confused, the guy at the dealer said the ECU inside the N/Ts were designed by Dodge and Mopar together...

lets see if we can help you out here SRT/Mopar is to Chrysler what:

Shelby/Saleen/SVT(Special Vehicles Team)/Cosworth is to Ford
Mugen is to Honda
Nismo is to NIssan
Ralliart is to MItsubishi
AMG/Mcclaren is to mercedes Benz
M series/Mcclaren to Bmw
Williams is to renault.
