i have gotten up to 130 or more on the autobahn.. i cant get over 115 or 125 when going straight.. but when going down hill i can get 130.. its so fast u feel your flying.. and i think.. wonder whatll happen if i crash now....

on the pa turnike i got it up to 123 with me and 2 of my friends in the car but my car was starting to shake haha so i slowed down... i have exhaust and a cold air intake.. i dont see how some of you are only goin about 100 hmmm?

ive gotten my RS AT to 130 mph on the interstate, and it was still driving pretty smooth, i love my car, 2 years with no problems

i've gotten mine up to about 120 with the overdrive off, 100 with it on. had to slow down because of other cars on the freeway.

There's no point in trying to use your overdrive. You'll always slow down if you use it. I've tried engaging O/D at 120 MPH, but it didn't help.
Can't wait to get a top speed going downhill though, but they always post speed limits on downhill portions of the autobahn...

I got my 93 Talon ES to 108 with the OD on, i turned it on at 100 cause im one of those freaks who never wants to go past redline. My car is totally stock at the moment. Next time i'm gonna push it and see what happens.

I have a 97 Eclipse 420A, and i got it up to about 120 with an AEM cai and a greddy catback, it might have done a little bit more, but not much.

When I had my '91 Plymouth Laser RS.. hacked airbox with K&N, 17" Konig Toxxin Wheels, Boush Plantinum +4 Plugs and wires.. i had it going 135 with overdrive and still pulling going on a straight highway.. no hills or anything.. maybe my car was a factory freek.. dunno.. but I miss that car.. I just like the automatics a lot more for cruising.. damn manuals always keeps a high RPM on the highway.. going 60 in my talon im at 3 grand.. in the laser.. like 2 grand with overdrive..

oh.. and it only had 70,000 miles on the engine too... it was a damn nice car... :(

only 95...i cruise at 95 with overdrive on (when im in a hurry). i have hit 105-110 several times and let off because of traffic. thats only with a ingen intake and obx rear section exhaust

do u always have your od on?? and should i every day drive with it on or off??

whats better for the engine/ gas mileage?

If I stay below 50 MPH, it is off. If I'm cruising above that, that's when I usually turn the OD back on. I've gone thru a whole tank of gas without the OD to see if the gas mileage was any different, and i got about 10 miles less on that tank.
What you quoted me on ^^^^^, you'll only lose speed on a top speed run using the OD.
Only use it on the highway.

Oh yeah, I had mine up to 130mph on Saturday going to Wurzberg, with a line of Benz-o's right behind me.

  im laughing my azz off cause thats what i do.. and somehow all them benzos be on my azz but i shake them off on da down hill..... where are u stationed?? im in illesheim.. like 20 min from wurzberg..

I'm AF, and if you're gonna take the rotator, aka the MAC flight, to Baltimore, I should be working that day. I'm an inspector for those aircraft. If you fly outta here, ask for Senior Airman Young and we'll B.S.

I don't mean to sound like the "bitchy parent" cause I'm only 22 and love to have fun....BUT, what are you guys thinking going those speeds on an interstate? Especially when there is traffic? At a drag strip or controled conditions sure maybe, but on a public road? Come on guys, that's crazy, BTW I've gotten up to 147 on a private track.

I was comming home from a cruize in one night.. and i made it to 135, could of kept goin but decided that was fast enough.. I just recently put a new rebuilt motor, with headers, intake... and 3 weeks after that i just put on apex'i catback exhaust..:talon:
