I won 1st place in the M2 class at the AZ Rally Group's Tucson RallyX #4. This bumped me up from 2nd place into 1st place for year end points.

Just removed my hood, & removed the seats in the colt. Pulling the long block next weekend & taking my car to get a cage installed

Thanks! They sure are! Looking at the results from the 3 events I have attended and comparing my times to a fast Ford Focus that usually wins the S2 class (this is after after all 6 times are added together): Event #1, I as 34 seconds behind him - Event #2, I was 32 seconds behind him - Event 3 (with the gravel tires) I was 1.5 seconds behind him after all 6 runs added together! I would say they helped a lot!

Thanks! The heat really wasn't THAT bad since we started super early. The vent did help though, although if I were to do it again I would install it directly over the driver's seat, not in the center of the car.

Good learning experience though. Were you able to get those side vents opened up yet? I'm sure that would help out too.

Thank goodness for dry heat and early starts.

Put it in the quonset since there's a good chance of hail and tornadoes today.

Tornados eh? That sucks man

Walked by my dsm which is freshly washed from the other day, on the way to drive my gf's lancer out and about.

I really hate my suspension at the moment. And still need to source torrigton bearing, two custom spherical bearing top hats (for the rears) hyper coil springs and helper springs, and the coil over sleeves and hardware kit.

FML. I'm so lazy.. And it is such a small price to pay for finally not clenching my teeth every time there is a minor defect in the road grade.

Edit: heh, jay from jay racing just called me about the parts. Looks like I'll be moving forward after all LOL

I didt get to do anything with my dsm as of now she is still not Mobil do to a broken input shift....

Everyone brace themselves:

I took my MR wheels off and slapped them on my daily, Talon is going to be sitting awhile for a rebuild.

Ya it is cut another same size hole, weld the newly cutoff metal in old spot, move the vent, bamm.
I may do that when I remove the sunroof. At that point it might be easier just to swap the entire roof skin though.

I didn't remove the covers, but the vents are still open. The cover's are really just one way valves.

If it wasn't for the rear camber, tow hook, and raw carbon fenders, that Civic would actually be pretty clean. Just sayin.

Today I repainted my hood after removing the ribbing and adding an Evo-ish hood vent. Tomorrow I'll continue trying to get my car another 300lbs lighter. Trying to get vehicle weight below 3k before I hit the track.
