Changed the oil yesterday. Check engine light still off. Looks good. Paint is fading more and more everyday. Clutch engagement is acting funny. Im gonna get a new slave since the master is brand new from the old one leaking on my floor. Thats about it. I drive it everyday.

Shit, my clear coat just began to fail too...

I don't know anything about painting. But I'm gonna do it myself. As soon as I feel like actually messing with it. It's a huge project. And I guess I could drive my other car. But I still need to sort out renting a booth and reading up on the process. But anything I do to it will be better than what it is. The front and the roof are fine. It's the quarter panels and the rear wing that are fading. Left side it's starting to turn white. Clear is pretty much gone back there. But it's not really peeling. It's just fading through.
 
pulled my dash, fuse box harness and engine harness. I plan on relocating the fuse box to the trunk. Im in the process of de-pinning the engine harness to install cannon plugs.
 
Did my rear brakes and replaced all of the gaskets/hardware on my exhaust. Finally got a chance to install my Punishment Racing LICP. Tomorrow is filling in the holes to mount a Greddy BOV on the PR pipe...using a 1g BOV and it can't get a proper seal until I fill those holes. Also tomorrow will be my cruise delete...YAY. I <3 the auto hobby shop here on base!
 
Discovered just how bad my car is eating rear tires. My almost new Michelin Pilot Sports are GONE in the back. How did I find this out?

Put the car backwards at 45 in the sleet. Did one of those cool 360's. As soon as I realized it wouldn't pull out, I went opposite clock and pinned it to win it. One full rotation. Coolest thing I will never be able to replicate. Talk about lucky...
 
Found out the engine I just rebuilt for a friend(lots of port work, bottom end and top end.) spun a rod bearing because my friend didn't tighten the oil feed line, like I told him to..... I get to do another one.

I media blasted 2 1g DSM rims and and intake manni, threw 2 more rims in the hot tank. I just got my auto AWD trans in. After laying on my back with a transmission on my chest got it in there and sliped a bolt in and finger snugged her down for the second time installing the same trans. Didn't even get to drive on the trans yet.

I stepped back and took a drink of MD then lit a menthol cig. Leaned over the fender to put the other bolt in the top of the trans and my talon fell to the ground crushing both of my jack stands and sinking the rotors about 3 inches in the ground. After jumping back screaming WOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOO, I started yelling calling it a POS and then my sister comes up saying that I need to get to town fast because kaylas car alarm wont shut off again and shes at work.

Got to walmart and some guy was yelling at me to shut her car up so I told him to kiss my ass and go suck one LOL. Went home spent 3 hours digging a hole to fit the jack under my car, cleaning dirt off everything, and inspecting everything. (thank got nothing was gamaged and I wasn't under the car when it fell)


11-06-2010, raked the yard, looked at my talon, thought about parting it out and all of its rare goodies if I can't find an engine hoist or a second hand willing to help change my water pump and mod my trans mountig plate because a guy here on DSMTuners brought the wrong one and insists its the correct one (there is a 1/2" lip stopping me from mounting the starter). Out of respect I won't say names but he knows who he is!

I pulled out all of 1ga and 1gb side skirts sets and wing sets that I have and getting ready to throw them in the trash if no one wants them. Got into a fight with rusted on front rotors and WON!!! Put the wheels back on and set her down on the ground and went inside, checked my messages, took a shower, played COD on x-box live till 4am and passed out in the middle of a search and destroy match and woke up with the x-box controller button imprint on the side of my face LOL.

I'm not a mean person. It might seem like that by my temper tantrum that I had stated. I was upset because my car fell and I had to run here and there before I could even see if everything was ok and nothing was broken LOL.
 
Sat in the front seat and remembered what it like to drive it the 100 miles i did before the motor blew after i got it...cursed the DSM Gods for laughing at me..ordered a few more parts for my JDM transplant...and prepped the engine bay for my new paint scheme that will look like @$$ till the whole car is painted black...looked at car porn and dreamed of the days to come... :)
 
well yesterday i put the interior back together (correctly with all screws) and put on the new mishimoto silicone radiator hoses. they look so pretty. now all i can do is wait for parts :\
 
.........I kicked the tires and said a few more goodbyes...

Then waited all day and counted the people who were flaking on coming to buy it.
 
Tightened the bolt that holds the cooler donut to the filter housing and changed the oil from the junk ass royal purple I was running to Shell Rotella T6 Synthetic 5w40. Car is WAY smoother and it's $40 for 8 quarts vs $72 for 8 quarts.
 
Put in the new radiator and put the fans back on. Went to drain the transmission fluid, but nothing came out, which would explain why it was grinding in between 1st and 2nd. Couldn't get the bolt off to put new transmission fluid in her so I called it a day.
 
I wiped off all of the oil marks off my seats from jumping in and taking it for a test drive when I work on it and I waxed the whole car twice but still looks the same :( just a little shinier (I don't know how to spell that word correct me if I'm wrong LOL)
 
i thought about giving it a good wash and cleaning the interior, but ended up going to OBI and buying the hardware for a DIY rear chamber kit. Also thought about finally adjusting the coil-overs to raise the car abit since my exhaust hits the speed bumps i cross on the way to work.
