Upgraded my GS brakes to GSX up front. Definitely a lot easier to handle under hard braking. New pads for the rear are coming soon and also debating on new struts, maybe a coil-over set-up. Next big thing is removing the wing and having the car repainted; then it's onto the interior. All the while I am looking for a gst spyder to come my way.

Installed my BRAND NEW evo16g. Took 9 hours because I ran into some unexpected things never mention in all the 16g install into a 2g search on here or google.
Tighten all the intercooler clamps. Took it for a spin... smiling the whole time. Good bye t25!ROFL

Next time off work will be double checking all the hose connections.

That is the maximum pressure that the tire can safely hold. The recommended tire pressure for your car is on a sticker in the drivers door jam.

Yea but if he has aftermarket tires he should try and either play with the psi a bit to get a feel or just call the tire manufacturer and see if they have a recommendation.
 
Looked at it. Said the F word. Radiator cracked for no apparent reason. Wtf! Open engine bay and green fluid everywhere!
Just order a mishimoto rad, hopefully it'll be in so I can have a car for work.

Went out and turned my talon around in the driveway so the tow truck could pick her up. She's on the way to my shop to start tear down. :cool:
 
Tried to change my fuel filter. Put pb blaster and kroil on it. Rounded off the fitting at every conceivable angle. Now I get to order a whole fuel line. This car is already getting on my nerves. So pissed..
 
Installed my rebuilt 14b because my ebay 16g was starting to smoke at idle. It ended up just being a bad shaft seal on the hot side but it didnt have any shaft play surprisingly. I ran it for about a year without any issues. The 14b is the 4th turbo on this motor so far. I've had the stock t25, then a precision 50trim, then the ebay 16g and now the 14b. I had plans on putting a 20g on my car but i havent had it balanced yet so I didnt want to risk it plus I need to do my timing belt and motor mounts first and get bigger injectors.. probably sometime this week that will get done. I also installed stainless exhuast manifold studs and a new OEM oil drain because i think that my rubber drain wasnt allowing oil to drain out of the turbo properly.

hooked up my cyclone manifold and did some tuning. That is AFTER i fixed the HKS SSQ BOV's damaged snap ring and replaced it with another one of those heliishly impossible Pieces of shat
 
Pulled out my cruise control and installed a non cruise throttle cable and pulled out my SMIC to find an upgraded Greddy unit.

Doing a compression test for Sh!ts and giggles. Seeing as how I can see bubbles coming from my head gasket I'm not wondering if it is bad. Just wondering how bad.
 
Took my ecu out because I've checked for vacuum leaks literally 50 times and my car ran like shit. Turns out a capacitor leaked onto the board and corroded it. :(
 
made a deal to trade for 3000gt and guy backed out cause someone offered him 1,900 for his 2g. then came back tryin to buy my 1g for cash and i told him no he got pissed.

soon after i got motivated to diagnose some problems so i tore apart the throttle body to rebuild it or get another to resolve my idle problems.

wonder what i will do later to it. LOL probably sit another 6 months with no interest.
 
Was fortunate enough to be donated a rebuilt 90' ECU from a local car guy. Ran home and installed it, car started right up. No more misfires or stuttering! I took it down the road and on just wastegate pressure I about pooped my pants. My first drive in my 1g reassured me FWD or not I'm keeping this car forever. :D
 
Confirmed I need a new motor. Thank god I have it already!

Ordered a Forced Performance exhaust manifold for it.
