What did you ask the machine shop to do? How much did they charge you?

I wanted them to basically rebuild my my short block because I spun a rod bearing. I was quoted just on reassembly of 400 that doesn't include machining work for the crank or parts such as bearing, on top of that I have to remove everything from the block for them to do the work. It make's no sense to me to spend 6-700 bucks on rebuilding a 7 bolt especially when as friend of mine has a fully built from head to block 6 bolt he'll sell for 2k. I guess ill go that route !
 
last night I had to big boxes in the garage when I got home from work. Just got around to opening them up.

Pulled the radiator out and did some light cleaning/prepping for the new radiator. Removed my battery and related components in order to relocate to the trunk. Now only if I could post in the classifieds I could get rid of some of this stuff ha.

I installed a nice felpro valve cover seal kit and switched around my oil pressure sender fitting to the right bsp fitting. I also found out that my old valve cover gasket leaked oil all over my new mitsu timing belt within the last couple weeks.

I don't care either, my car is cursed so if it dies, it dies. But I'll be sure to put 450 hp through it on e85 before that happens.
 
I check my dsms electrical system with my multimeter
 
got rear bumper and door trim's on. now all the panels but the twisty skirts are color matching panels. All of them are on my spyder with the 2gb talon swap

I've been unable to afford my second half of my manifold yet but I will have one soon myself!

Got the damn top locking nut off of the rear suspension and got the bad shock replaced. The original was bad, as I suspected - and as the video details in depth. Turn your speakers down.

Also started getting the lines ran for the gauges. Have to trim my gauge cluster plastic a bit since the fittings press against the gauges... it's frustrating. Also sat the car back on all 4 for the first time in a few weeks.
 
Startedit up and backed it out of the garage for the first time in a week or more
 
Put a stock front bumper modified it so it fit with thee front mount and also took it to a car wask and filled it up with gas :)
 
Stripped out the threads of the bleeder valve on the slave cylinder while attempting to bleed the clutch. Lol
 
installed

-- poly mounts all the way around
-- reinstalled my hx40
-- made a new tap to read oil pressure after my restrictor on the hx40
-- installed a slimline fan
-- picked up a meth kit
-- ordered new suspension
-- ordered new tires

-- waited for payday... not till friday :( LOL
 
Took off my cracked oil pan to put a new one on and found... this! and a couple metal shavings.
