Depends on the condition of the paint.
If the paint is in good shape, I clay bar it then wax it with either NXT 2.0 or Surf city Barrier reef wax. ( I do this on my BMW and my 2g)

For older paint that doesn't have as much depth and I'm not trying to make it look special I like Nufinish. (Do this for my 1g)

The best brand I have found; but tends to be a tad on the pricey side is Zaino. I've gotten incredible results from it.

It just brought back the red color so well..

i like to claybar follow it with a nice tutrlewax ice spray then wax. the results are phenomenal (to me at least)

Meguiars NXT 2.0 along with the clay bar kit and you will be amazed. Used it on my bike and it looks awesome.

Me and my dad use meguiars gold class. It just makes the finish feel slippery . And it makes it really shine.

I have found that Zymol wax is the best!! It is light blue in color if your wondering. But it works like a dream!!!!

Pretty close to exactly what I use, I also like Turtle Wax detail spray for the interior...I've liked almost every wax I've tried...minus the spray, I can't stand spray wax, never did the job for me

i use alot of 3m products and recommend them but usually use meguiars nxt wax for a finish.

I usually stick with Meguiars or ###ken wax. Always get great results with either.

Just used Nufinish with a High-Speed buffer and it turned out AMAZING! Brought the color back to my skirts and my paint looks like its from factory except where it is peeling and chipped haha. Even polished the windows and it made my 30% tint look like its almost 20% now and wicks water better than any kinda rain replaint ive ever on windows

+1 on Clay Bar & 3m perfect fit II(worth the extra money)

Also a HighSpeed buffer makes all the difference in the world if you know what your doing!!!

Wow, everyone seems to like the I.C.E. wax but I absolutely hated it coming from the stuff I was using, I literally threw it in the trash cause I was so disappointed at the end result. I personally like using Meguiars NXT Tech Wax (liquid form) and I've never been disappointed, the cars so slick the polishing cloth wont stay on the hood.

This stuff builds layers on itself, use it after a good buffing then you can just wash/wax as needed water beads up on the paint.

I know, right? I hate when I put a micro on the hood then it falls off, making me find a new one. Annoying but awesome.

Meguiars Quick Spray Wax. Its so simple. Just spray it on and wipe it off. It looks like you hand waxed the whole thing in less than 45 minutes if you do the whole car. You will not be sorry with this product. Also the quick detailer before hand makes it look twice as good and keeps it looking clean and shiny for a few weeks. I promise.
