Hi everyone, I'm a newbie here and don't know what BOV I have. I'll post a picture. Can anyone tell me what possible BOV I have? Stock or not stock? Thanks in advance.

Looks like a stock EVO X BOV. Part number 1545A007
How do I find out the Part number? Or how do I find out which bov I have? There is no part number or letter or nothing on the bov.

For those that have been in the Mitsubishi game for a good amount of time, the picture says it all. It also looks like it has been "crushed" if you look close.

Sorry I'm a newbie I don't know what crush is or how crush works or related or different to stock bov and after market bov, but I'll do some more search, thanks.

Everybody was "new" at one time. I am not a "LONG" time member but have 10 years of them and own a small herd of them. The term "crushed" is exactly that, someone has put the BOV in a vice and crushed it to make the spring inside shorter/stiffer so it holds boost more. You can tell that when the vacuum hose nipple is almost touching the second section of the BOV "hat". It isn't a bad thing, but they make adjustable BOV's too. I personally run a crushed 1g BOV and can run 40 lbs of boost with them. IDK how much the EVO unit will hold before pressure forces it open but that is why some people run them and/or crush them, so they will hold more.
Welcome to the forum!!!
Some of our supporting Vendors (at the bottom of this page) carry EVO parts also. MAP (another parts vendor) has that BOV - https://www.maperformance.com/produ...off-valve-2008-2015-mitsubishi-evo-x-1545a007 so you can compare images.

Thanks for explaining. My car is stock beside injen intake and cutback exhaust. Maybe this bov is crush or stock evo ix or x bov I don't know. I still need to install boost gauge to see how much psi it's pushing. In the future I plan to upgrade turbo maybe 14b or 16g, front mount intercooler, fuel pump, fuel injector, tune with safc or ecmlink but safc will probably be cheaper to tune and a goal of 300hp so it can hang around with stock evo, sti, civic type r, focus rs, golf r, c5 corvette level That's what I want for future, thanks everyone for their support and input.

TRUE THAT!!!! I am OLD.......but still learning about DSM stuff ;) (because you are never too old to learn). ROFL

This video is quite informative on the subject. I'm not sure someone would actually crush a Tomei BOV, but the IX & X variations are pretty close to each other.

@kengo Take a look at the side of BOV (around under vacuum line nipple). If that's a Tomei reinforced BOV, you will see a Tomei logo. If you see no logo, then that's not a Tomei BOV.
Ok thanks, I Chek and no logo or nothing at all so it's probably not Tomei bov.

Yes by looking at it, I think it's very similar to evo 9 bov as the nipple is in an angle degree of 4 to 5 o'clock by comparison so yes I think mine is an evo9 bov, thank you for this video, it's very helpful.

Close, but that looks like an EVO IX BOV. Part # 1545A001
You are correct bud, looks more closer to evo9 bov by comparison the angle of the nipple at a 4 to 5 o'clock when comparing.

Anyways, thank you everyone for the help out and info. Still learning as I go will definitely ask for help again in the future as I do more mod and tuning.
