sorry im sure you get ALOT of quetions like this- i jus bought a 90 turbo eclipse2wd and i have a 2nd gen probe gt and it consistantly does 14.7's-14.9's. and my buddy raced me with my eclipse and the eclipse COMPLETELY blew its doors off. i mean like 15 carleangths in the quarter, guessing like 13.9's and all i have is 2.25 exhaust no cat k&n filter and aftermarket boost gauge, and its only running 9.5lbs!! the turbo says td05h is that stock? SOMETHING has to be aftermarket! prior owner said the turbo was from majestic turbo in texas-stage 2 or somethin. and input would be cool thanks guys!

td05h doesnt help us at all, there are a lot of turbos with that housing... any other numbers on the turbo? is it a downflow or an upflow turbo? (aka does the compressor outlet for the turbo face up or down) pic?

I know you dont have a e316g cause they dont go below 10 psi b/c the wastegate, and I dont think they apply to all 16g's. You could have 14b, any 16g, or a bastard 20g. not to srue on the wastegate thing tho. somone correct me

The tdo5 is probley is either a 16g or a 18g.

yeah thats all i see on the turbo-it flows down. ill look for more numbers tomarrow,i know alot about cars, just not turbos yet, but seriously i take my probe to the track alot and ive beaten 3 dsms-2wd so something hasta be done to this, im very sure it runs about a 13.9 is that about right for the 9 psi and mods i have on it? yes i did get bitten by the dsm bug. but my probe still looks damn good,-lowered2 1/2 17inchrome cfhood cf fenders wing. but now its (the turd)

post a pic of the probe....i dont know if you can post a pic of a non-dsm but anyhow the dsms, once you work on them and see whats available, i think you will like them more than the good ol' probe. The probe is a 6 cyl though, isnt it?

yeah its a 93 gt 2.5v-6 ss headers no cat 2.25 ex nice intake-batt relocation huge wieght reduction sshifter, its on car domain but havent updated since fenders and elcheapo coilovers-completely slammed. yeah was gonna get the klze motor but i think then it would jus barely keep up with my 600 dollar car all my friends make fun of it, the eclipse is completely stock interior/ext and needs paint BAD. also threw my powder coated stock 16in ford probe wheels on it....looks kinda good for ford wheels on mitsu. i know thats a sin on here tho isnt it

A friend has 17" Ford Mustang SVT rims on his 1g, wide as heck, and i think they look really nice, he has the chamber kit on there as well so from behind, the tires kind of angle out a little bit, looks really nice.

umm.......if your talon is running 13's and almost stock except for what you listed, your dsm is in amazing shape, are you sure you dont have like a 6 bolt motor with rebuilt or forged internals, cause running 13's on almost stock is ludachris.......amazing in another words. take her to the track and see what ya get for a slip...

An easy way to find out if its a 14b or not is to take off the intake and look at the turbine blades. If the are all the same size its a 14b, if it alternates small big small its probably a 16g of some variation.

yeah ill look tomarrow at the turbines, but yes ive raced at the track ALOT and im dead sure its gonna do 139's-14-2's -probe-147's-15.0 minus the 14-17 carleangths goin into/mid third gear ill get all my quetions out on here so i dont bother you guys anymore. it boost 9.5 lbs at 2800-3000rpm- normal? i have a 80 dollar boost gauge and nice vacuum line for it. so its right. so when i get the mbc and bump it to about 14-15 how much horse/(probe ass kickin) is that gonna add? ok i think im done. again sorry stupid quetions

the way to make these dsms faster is boost up the PSI. 6 PSI will give you a 25-40 HP gain if not more.

i took the intake hose off and the turbines look like 2 sets and front one is a lil longer than the back one so yes small big small.. is that a good thing? i wish i got into the f/i world a lil earlier

i got my first dsm (92tsi fwd) in 1999. i thought it was the greatest thing since sliced bread, and it only had a 2.5"catback, K&N, and a boost controller.

then i got my current dsm, and it was like a whole new world.

pull the intake snorkel off the turbo off and look at the compressor blades, that will tell u what u have. take a pic and post it up here.

if they alternate you have a 16g... umm dont go above 13-14ish on stock injectors.
