You have 6-bolt rods. They are good for over 600whp with a quality tune. So I would suspect you are better off cleaning them up and using them instead of eagles.

Which 272s? there are some out there that are NOT in the same effective duration range as most.

The cams I am looking at are Brian Crower cams.Well can 6bolt and 7bolt rods interchange? How do I tell if mine are really the 6bolt rods?

no 6-bolt and 7bolt can not interchange. There's machining to do.

6bolt rods are bigger. They have a 21mm pin bore and have bigger rod bolts.

Ok. Just wanted to make sure. Ok then i will keep my rods then. I figure I am going to have about 1300 into the motor and a FMIC,logger. I got a list of parts,and prices and where to buy them.Since the balance shaft eliminator kit is scared and all the bearings are scared. I am going to get the crank checked to see if it needs to be turned or not also. 90 dollars is alot cheaper than 166 . the logger I am looking at is on westcoastdsm.com and the model number is WCDSM-1GDLK do you know if it is any good or not work the money?
