wow that's a lot of guns. Do you just collect them or sell them? That might be more expensive than a DSM

i collect and shoot about 6 hours a week. I shoot on average of about 80,000-100,000 rounds a year. And my reloading equipment alone is worth more than my dsm or prob a good amount of the cars on this forum.


Guns are like gold. worth alot and easy to sell. If you dont know about gun values i would suggest a trip to a gun store as an eye opener.

just an example

cheapest hangun i own is the walther p99 at $425
most expensive is the Luger at last appraised is worth $2,950
most fall into the $1000 - $1500 range

granted I do like to buy good pieces for the collection but even "cheap" guns are $$$

i have a c&r ffl but i never buy anything with it. I used to shoot alot more than i do now. I am thinking about a class 6 ffl to manufacture and sell my own ammunition as a way to pay for my car.

I have bought and sold so many guns i really have a hard time deciding on what i would buy anymore as i find the weird stuff more appealing to me.

Right now my favorite gun to shoot is a winchester 1895 in 45-90. it kicks like a bi*** but i have a ton of fun with it.

I love going to cowboy shooting matches where they are using guns chambered in .38 so they dont have to deal with recoil and i step up and rip off 8 rounds as fast as i can and shoot just as accurate and then walk away smiling as people look at me.

according to call of duty that hatchet is a one hit kill where it takes multipul bullets to kill someone so you might be better off

I still have all of my old weapons. I have not purchased any more since I enlisted.. they give me them for free

Once I'm out I will most likely build a bootleg AR and a 1911. That's down the road, though, have to keep feeding other hobbies for now. I am looking forward to getting back into the 1000 yard tactical stuff though once I ETS.
