VHT Nite Shades [Merged 8-7] tint tinted smoked painted tails taillight taillights

I nite shaded my two outside tail lights and painted the center section black on my talon a few weeks. I think I am having second thoughts about doing it. All my friends tell me it looks really good. But I dont know. Should I keep it or get some stock tails for it?

it looks nice blacked out ..but then again stock will look cleaner

Honestly... I don't like it. And if you don't either, then go back to stock. It's your car, don't listen to what other people think.

On a serious note, that car looks straight up EVIL with those tails blacked out. Keep it that way man, looks sick.

phone around..... try calling your local performance shop see if they can get it in.... thats all i did and low and behold i got a guy in the city stocking it regularly now

i think it looks really good!! The only thing is that it kinda looks like too much black??

One thing i like doing with the talon tails is only painting the orange part (i really hate all that orange on the back, especially on my GREEN car) and centerpeice but leave the red on the actual tail lights red still.. ive seen this on only like 2 or 3 other talons on this forum and i think it looks really clean!

take a look at my profile pics to see what it looks like, IMO i think it looks GREAT.. ive seen this on another white talon and it looks even better, a black talon would be perfect for it

I personally would have blacked out only the amber. and maybe recolor the words Talon a different color...like chrome or red.

Thats sweet. Now all it needs some black rims, dark tint and your all set. and a Black tip on the N1.

NiteShade is NOT perm. It is just a paint. Take the tails off and use paint thinner or something you are comfortable with. I messed up once and used fuel to strip it. It came off like it was dirty and being cleaned.

However I vouch for the VHT Look, Your car is hot!

keep the night shades, or just reveal the red part.. was never a fan of that huge amber part on the talon tails.

Yeh I dont know I will probablly keep it till the summer and see if it grows on me. As far as taking it off. I would be better off just trading someone locally or buying a set off of ebay. The center section is painted and I had to scuff up the two side tails. With wet sanding and buffing it could be done, but wouldnt be worth the hassle.
