valve spring question

Ok, I did a bit of searching and the pages where far to many for me to keep searching through... Most that I did look at had nothing to do with my question at hand

My question.. With 280 cams will single upgraded (such as BC or what have you)
be sufficient or is beehive or dual spring set up NEEDED (not "hey its a good idea to have dual set up") Not saying I am worried about spending the little extra cash for the beehive or duals.. but thats not the question..

so again.. can single spring support 280s... ?

Depends what "flavor" of 280's and singles. Kelford 280 cams with BC single springs... NO. Now Reground Delta 280's with GSC single springs (yes, if you keep the rev's sub 8K (check for coil bind on any combo though).

I plan on using FP cams.... i guess i should have added that... I guess i will just get dual to be "safer"
