What type of valve spring compressor tool should I use that works best for 4g63 heads?
Here are some item numbers on eBay of some ones that I was looking at
4597246120
4597241994
4425310134
If you see one that works better let me know please.

I was wanting to remove the springs while the head is still on the car, but won't the valve fall into the cylinder If I do it like that?

Feed some rope into the cylinder and crank the piston up slowly. That will hold the valves in place while you work on them. As far as a tool. Do a search on "vlave spring compressor" I found a bunch of tips/suggestions.

My head is already off so I can use a poor boy method on mine. :talon:

If I do the rope trick I can only have one, maybe two springs off at a time correct?

Nah, if you put enough rope in there I don't see why you couldn't do all four valves in that cylinder at once. Although I guess it wouldn't hurt to only take one apart at a time.
