ECMlink V3 no start

Ok I'm the biggest noob when it comes to this. I just got my ECU back from ECMTuning and I installed it at work. Battery was dead so I had to jump my car.

Well it wont start, it cranks over and fires up for 3sec and dies. If I give it throttle nothing happens. Here's my noob question. Do I need my laptop and it connected to the ECU before it will start. Sorry I'm a complete noob with this.

I would hook up the laptop just so you can see that all your sensors and everything are at least coming on but that shouldn't affect it starting and running like it should. Make sure that all of your connections at the ecu are secure and just recheck any sensors or anything that you may have worked with to make sure everything's tight.

only sensor I know thats not hooked up is my second O2 sensor. But Im installing a wideband for that

Only changes from when it last ran is full 3"exhaust and GM maf

Ohhh......also do I needto install that wire for clutch safty sensor?

That wire is there if your going to be using no lift to shift and 2 step launch control. It's not a requirement to run though.

Are you using a MAFT or the GM MAF cable from ECMTuning?
Do you have all the settings in ECMlink set properly?

Im running the GM maf cable from ecmtuning.No I havent hooked my computer to the car yet

What did you have chip set to from ecm? Wut size injectors and what maf type is it set for

It was suposed to be set for stock injectors and GM MAF. Well I got it running I had to set the MAF to GM MAF, fired right up ran and sounded great

Well I did say I was gonna post a video. Its a video of it running pretty well
