I have two stock mitsubishi starion FMIC and I'd like to know if anyone has ever fabbed it up to fit a 1g. It's larger then the stock sidemount so performance should be better, and it's smaller then an aftermarket front mount so fitting it shouldn't be a problem. What do you guys think? Here is a picture.

They were not wildly popular in the day. The cost to get one to fit did not match the benefits. If you can make the mounts and piping yourself, then go for it. If you can do that, you might as well upgrade the straw-sized inlets (1.75 inches) to 2.0-2.5 inches. It is better than the stock side mount, but for the money, you could have a much better setup.
