I've also owned a 6G74 montero for quite some time. Smooth riding, great vehicle. Trans took a shit on me though.

These cars had both options then, my wagon and my coupe originally came with 4G32's but someone swapped both of them out to 4G52's long before I ever got my hands on them.



They weren't very strict with naming, as you saw my 'galant' wagon was called a 'colt' in american, a name that later was given to the 'mirage' chassis in the 80's.

they just sort of kept the names around to put on whatever.

They are all called Colts in Asia. Galant Colt, Lancer colt and Dodge Colt.

Not sure how I missed this at this year's SO, will i be able to catch it next august? Defiantly awesome. If you did not already have the 6g74 I would do something like a vg30dett. What i would call unique would not be the same as the next gent.

Started a tubular manifold for the Evo 8 16g

Brought home a coupe, that one is very likely getting a 6G72 single turbo this spring.

For now it's up and running with a 2 liter and a 5 speed, has a full cage and a spooled rear diff

As for my other vehicle;

96 Montero SR, fresh rebuild on the 3.5 liter DOHC engine, 2 inch lift, 37 inch tires, 17x10 weld wheels, factory air locker in the rear. Only real plans for this thing is to add an aussie locker in the front and build sleeping quarters in the rear.

Started tacking this up yesterday, as you can see I started from the runners back to the collector, opposite of how I should do it but the evo flange is divided and sits kind of weird, so the collector actually winds up being two collectors and without knowing where it would be, i needed to run the runners. It's getting there.
