Urgent help needed! Rear diff/t-case locked up

I apologize in advance. I am texting from my iPhone on a very slow network. Using search is too painfull at the moment. Time is of the Important. I am on a trip and I just had my rear end lock up on me. My options are very limited. I need to know if I can make car fwd for a temporary fix. I aslo would like to know if the safety recall affected 1g t-cases?

Answering your question to the recall issue. Yes they were affected by the recall, seems if your t- case is locked your out of luck.

Thanx, just hated that I had to make this my first. Called a dealership and they say I was apossible canidate. Hope it pans out.

Update*

I am very fortunate person today. I have been told the the t-case was bone dry and that they will be warranty-ing the transfer case. 116,000 miles on this car, I really didn't think I was going to be able to do this.

Oh yea, your lucky it was never done before. Yea it goes for 90-99 talon eclipse and laser 92-94. They said on the warrenty paper that if its bone dry you get a new t case. If it has fluid you will receive a new yoke installed to stop the leak.
