Transfer Case Locked up.

sorry for posting this but i went thru enormous number of posts and didn't see any info on what exactly breaks when your tcase lockup.
i cant get under the car and take tranny and tcase apart and see what exactly going on there.
i just need to know what to replace...i got transfer case 23 spline which will fir for my 95 manual tranny and i just wonder what else i have to get.

There is actually a recall on that for the 95 DSM's. The transfer case locks up because the drain plug on it leaks. This was a defect from the factory and there was a recall for it. But once it locks up, your t-case is siezed most likely. You just need a Transfer case. However, I would go to chrysler first and find out if the recall was done.

Take it to the dealership.

It does not matter if the recall has been done 5,000 times. It is a safety recall and they HAVE to warranty it for the life of the car. They should be giving you a brand new transfercase and installing it for free.
