hey, so tomorow im getting my MR 3 inch downpipe with a highflow cat and magnaflow muffler put on with 3 inch piping. im just curious as to what it will do to my car. i kno it will help add some hp but do you think it will be noticeable??? runnin the t28 at 14 psi right now. i jus wanna know what to expect. thanks a lot

your boost might also raise 1 or 2 more psi...so be carefull and look at your boost gauge to make sure you dont get alot of boost creep...I have a t28 with a megan o2 housing and have it hooked up to straight wastgate and still seeing 14-15 psi

As hypnoticpimp mentioned, you need to readjust your boost controller or you *will* boost higher than 14psi. I went from 14psi to over 20psi with a 3" turboback on my FPB28 with no additional mods. It was not creep, it was just a big decrease in ex. manifold and DP backpressures (less of a push through the WG). I readjusted the MBC and get 14psi with 15psi spike. I'd dial the MBC way down on your first pull to see what happens.

On top of everything, that is being said already, you also might experience boost creep, due to a less back pressure and resulting in air bypassing the flapper valve area and flowing to the turbine wheel. Make a few runs just on spring and then start to adjust.

I agree. Turn the boost all the way down and slowly reset it. Otherwise you'll go to punch it and mess something up. And you're still running stock injectors. Rewire your fuel pump as well (cheap but worthwhile mod).

Here is what i got
1) faster spool up
2) top end
3) sound obviously
4) BOOST CREEP, since its a big down pipe for a little turbo ya know.. i mean the t28 is bigger that the t25 but its still a smaller turbo

ok thanks a lot for all the coments. got it on n it sounds and feels very nice. hitting 15psi so not much boost creep, but i think i might be hitting a little bit of fuel cut in 3rd and 4th gear when its at around 6500rpm. cant lower the psi any more since its alrready set at the lowest. next ima get a fuel pump, 650's, safc, and wideband so i get give it a little more boost. thinkin low 13's maybe???? then fp2cams and BC springs and retainers

that was actually me above, forgot to log off my bros acocunt. LOL. forgot to add a front mount to that list too. so you think low 13's are possible with just the fuel mods and fmic?
