Ultimate 1G & 2G DSM Brass Shifter Pivot/Cable/Base Bushings Set (28pcs)

I would like to add some 1990 shifter info to this thread. On the '90, it has a Shift Stop Bushing also. I believe it was a rubber or maybe a plastic piece from the factory and I used rubber o-rings on my shifter. I believe this is an issue with bending or breaking shift fork tabs in the transmissions so when that piece wears out, you can "over" shift the transmission. See my pictures and you will notice this difference. Other than that, the 1990 shifter uses all 6 bushings the same size for you 90 owners. Maybe @Gsx-Dude will see what I am saying and be able to offer his version of a 1990 specific kit. Honestly, I think a piece of rubber vacuum hose would probably work for the shift stop peg cover. It really makes the shifter have a cushion at the end of the throw and not over throw the shift. Sorry for the clutter.
EDIT.....Post #9 shows a 1g shifter handle and it looks like it has the same shift stop post that I am showing but I don't know if it was solid metal or a smaller shaft like my 1990 has. I HAVE verified that the pink, thick o-ring does work, I don't know how long it would last, maybe a stack of 2 or 3 of them would be perfect.
Also, the 1990s have 4 hold down bolts to the floorpan.

I'm still looking fo a 90 shifter assembly so I can start getting a set for these too.
In the meantime I managed to make the other part you mentioned in your post before @1990TSIAWDTALON
I also made it a bit more solid than the stock one. Fits really nice now.
I will add it to the kit for just an additional $10.

I finally managed to get the set ready for the 90' owners!
The pivot bushings were almost the same but with other tolerances so I had to make some new ones for that.
I also added a POM shifter stop for the 90' set that @1990TSIAWDTALON mentioned above to the kit for free.

Ok I have to add my experience with these bushings.

I purchased a 2G set a month or so ago but did not have the time to install them until this week. All I can say is WOW!! These made a huge difference. I will attach some pics and some videos of my install, which (with some modification for my B&M shifter) only took me about 90 min to install.

Fitment is perfect, all went into place without issue. Also, they came with detailed install instructions.

The B&M shifter mounting shaft is smaller than OEM, so these bushings were a bit too thick. I used a wiz-wheel to shave down only the exterior bushing (they are soft brass so they shave down easily). Mine fit perfectly at 12.10 mm. I opted to only shave the outside bushing in order to keep the cable straight in case my grinding was not perfect. (Please excuse the mess)

STOCK BUSHINGS:
This is the movement I had on OEM transmission bushings, on a rebuilt transmission I must add...

I like the addition of the oem-style sparkplug wire separators. I got factory ones shiped from Japan (Amayama), and I think some p/n’s showed NLA after my order. I actually think they are a good design, and seeing someone reproduce them is cool.
