Will a 16g twin scroll turbine fit in a 14b exhaust housing? I read on here that 16gs and 14bs share the same turbine wheel. I didn't know if the twin scrolls where the same aswell. Thanks

Hmm. what if you used the turbine and shaft out of the 14b? Same cartridge right?

14b/16G uses the same turbine wheel - TD05H. There is no housing that is twin scroll for a DSM 16G/14B. Evo turbine inline flanges are different, and outlet flanges are different. Your turbo will spin backwards if you somehow managed to put it on. The only way to put on on is to use an evo mani and turbo, and have the intake go into your alternator.

if your car was running in SD,(like mine) you could just put a filter right on the end huh?

im sure its not the best way ### it woudl suck up all the heat from the radiator. but that would work right? could you just use Evo3 16g oil feed line. and some custom return line?

It would be pointless to do it. Besides, you still need to put the MAF between the turbo and filter.

Just stick with stuff made for DSM's.

agreed with Mr box. If you really want to do it (god knows why), you can do it with a custom built manifold. But if you are going to build a custom twin scroll mani, I'd do it on a bigger turbo, like a Holset (like me).

yea i love my Holset HX35, i guess i was more or less just asking the question what if LOL.

i dont plan on ditching my HX35,

but do Evo mani's bolt up to our heads?
