I drive a Ford Windstar every once in awhile. That thing is a boat.

Heres a solution to your issue with the turning radius.

Step one when approaching a turn do so at 45 to 60 mph.

Step two put hand on e brake.

Step three pull up on e brake in a very forceful fashion while simultaneously turning right or left into the corner.

Step four try not to understeer into a curb or oversteer into the neighbors yard.

Rinse lather repeat.

ahahah, defiant your awesome..mergeing these posts is a feat onto itself xD

so from the sounds of it, fwd drifter or not... your not gonna get these cars to turn tighter unless you fabricate a cv axle, and steering system to do so..and the suspension to make it fit as well...

sounds like it'll cost alot but it can be done...i've been wanting to replace the clunky iron suspention with aluminum alloy or steel tubing...lighten and strengthen, maybe even a wider stance...
