I have both Greddy boost and egt gauges 60mm (silver faced). will these fit in any dual gauge pods? like an autometer dual gauge pod? or do they have specific gauge pods for the 60mm?

I got a tripple pillar pod that you can purchase actually. It was bored out by someone else (I bought it) and I decided to go with 52mm gauges instead. Grey in color.

Pm me if yah want details/to purchase.

As far as 60mm gauges go. You could always pickup a 60mm pod from gaugepods.com I'm almost 100% sure. But yea, I love a 60mm gauge too but I couldn't afford them :( thats why I went 52mm's.

Good choice on those greddy's tho!

I've gotta question for those of you that have 60mm gauges. I have my GReddy 60mm EGT and Boost gauges but nowhere to put'em. I've looked everywhere for the full dual 60mm gauge pillar pods. So now I'm faced with 2 options...

A) get a third gauge....which would be...I dont know
B) Get the kinda ghetto style pods that attach to the pillar.

Any ideas....or if any of you know where to get the full pillar pod that would be rad.

Take a dremmel to the autometer pod gauge that fit the autometer gauges. I have a smaller boost 30-0-30 with a GReddy EGT peak/hold right under it in a dual pod. Just took a dremmel to it.:thumb:

Don't worry, it will not look bad once you get the gauge in the pod. The Greddy gauges have a lip that will cover any ragged edges.;)

Anyone know if you take any brand 52mm a pillar gauge pods and bore them out to fit 60mm greddy's?

can you bore the lotek pods out?

i emailed lotek (gaugepods.com) and they said that it could NOT be done. Do they understand what I mean when i say bore out the enterence to fit a wider gauge?

what gauge pods did you use?

I sold a lo-tek pod to l2rtsiawd that was bored out to 60mm on all the pods holders (3) and it was fine for the boring. Just get you a small Dremel and try it with the gauge in hand and bore a little then try a gauge and so on and so on. Till you get it bored out to your liking.

Did your gauge fit flush and go all the way into the pod? or did it stick out the end a bit.

im worried i can bore the entrance to the pod out a bit to make it enter it but it wont go in all the way.

It's really close so I would have to say "yes" the gauges will go all the way in but you may have to check the rear of the gauge or if it has those long |_| metal bolt's coming off the back of them they will HAVE to be cut off.

Just bore it out and fit the gauge.
Or either sell the pod and just buy a 60mm pod, if you're honestly worried about it that much.

who sells 60 mm pods? ive looked everywhere.

ive also read reviews about the lotek gauges that say they have been bored out to 60mm to fit APEXi gauges. Are the gauges the same width for a greddy 60mm as an apexi?

60mm is 60mm either way you look at it. Dosen't matter if there apexi's or greddy's. Only diff I know of is the ring around the gauge bezel.

Halfway down you got the option for 60mm's, that should be fine. If all else fails just email there customer service.

Its for a 1g.

and some gauges are longer/deper (?) than others whether they have the same circumfrence or not...

You will honestly have to get someone that has the gauge and compare them. Or go look on the manfacturers website and read the specs on the gauge itself. Or find someone that ran/runs the 60mm gauges you want and ask them how/what they did.

OK. Im looking for a DUAL 60mm gauge pods for my 1g. I have the 60mm greddy peak/hold gauges

I emailed Lotek (gaugepods.com) and they said they cannot be bored out to 60mm (even though tons of people have done it) The only thing Im wondoring now is: is the greddy gauge too long to fit in the pod? Will it go all the way in?

Is anyone here running 60mm greddys in a 1G dual gauge pod from lotek or another company? or can someone point me in the right direction?

thanks

:dsm:

i have apexi 60mm gauges in my car. The pods had to be bored out but they did indeed fit (mine are in a triple A-pillar pod, not sure what company). they weren't too long either. Not sure how similar greddy and apex gauges are, but mine fit fine.

Yeah just like the subject says...I've been searching for full(fills up the entire pillar) dual 60mm gauge pillar....no luck Only see them in triple.... Has anyone have a solution.
So far the only options are...
A) Buy third gauge....eck. Boost, EGT, and what?
B) BUy a dual 52mm pillar and dremmel it out....

Any guesses?
