Forgot to factor torque converter slipping, thanks Donnie for clarifying.

Im getting confused. When tuning with sd, you setup your idle...global and deadtime etc. In wot don't you tune with with sd table don't you. You set the da table to the a/f ratio you expect or want. You then can look at how close you are based on your wideband and assumed afr? So if I do a wot pull and im running rich I can lower the numbers in the sd table in that particular cell.Pay attention to your "widebandFactor" it should be damn near zero. This means that the estimate of the air coming in matches the actual air coming in. Right now your ecu assumes it is getting more air than you actually are (AFRestimate =11.1, LC1WB=10.1).
Also, if you look at your "HPperAir" number, you can multiply your lbs/min by that. Right now it is saying that you are making 7.5 hp per lb/min or ~375 crank hp. The better the tune the close you get to 10 hp/lb/min.
I think you also should unlock your IAT temp now that you are fully running SD. Anybody confirm this?

Also by locking the iat and baro, is that to make things simpler? Does the computer alter timing related to increased temp
My iats were 15 degrees...... I probably could of benefited from it. You add the cold temps with meth injection.....Im sure I could up my timing a lot if I wanted to. I don't want to damage the motor though. Even though I have a aluminum rod motor in the worksSounds right to me. I havent started my SD tuning yet though. All i need is to get a good log and then I can switch.
I have read that when you lock it you should be running in 60-80 degree air so it is close to what you would normally see. The computer is going to adjust (take out) fuel when it is warmer (air is less dense) and add it when it is cooler (air is more dense). Once again, if someone could back me up on this?
Im taking a ride to go get some e85 tmrw morning. My intention for this car was always to run e85. But im really considering the pte 6262.....Yes you set the da table to the a/f ratio you want. Then adjust your sd table to match your wideband to the da table.
The 8cm housing is deff a restriction on the fp black. You can still makes tons of power though it just wont pull like a freight train to redline. Kinda tapers off

I have two sets on injectors sitting in boxes. fic 1250s and the famous fic high z 1650s......these injectors were $$$$$$$$$$$$$$, I also have the e85 sensor already installed with the ecm link cable. So im ready, I even tore out all my fuel lines and replaced them with aeroquip tfe lines......Remember e85 needs a lot more fuel. 1000cc injectors no where enough.
I jumped straight to a gtx3582r to get rid of the restrictive 8cm housing. I want to go auto but spent way too much time and money on my trans and 4 bolt set up. Plus 5 spd is more fun on the street
. The horsepower bug bites again. Next thing u know you will want to run compound turbos. Just messin with ya! Keep making that power! Not changing things.......looking ahead, because I already know we're this is going.so you aren't even tuned yet and already changing things? good luck.
Nah man, don't listen to me..... the black is fine. It all depends on how serious you are. I'm not cutting any corners anymore. I made a goal and I plan to reach it. Low 10s .... I don't care what it takesThis scares me, I just bought a black and am currently building my engine, I should have went t3 and bigger. Lol

turned off meth injection, actually runs better. Im aware im leaving power on the table but it looks safe...to me. I had to shut it down, car doesnt have traction today at all, its a little wet so my car is lighting them up. Heres the log, cars starting to pull crazy hard. I dont have room to pull into 3rd all the way to redline.Fp black can hit 10's. shoot for 9's
The cars moves....... it's totally worth the heartache and struggle. I love these cars.Lol you might wanna wait until its dry out and not in the 30's to be making pulls.
Yah..... I shat alil.Lol you might wanna wait until its dry out and not in the 30's to be making pulls.
