Turn signals cause idle surge, this is crazy!!!!!!!!!

Last summer I removed my seat belts for 5pt harnesses. Ever since my blinker lights in my dash both blink whenever I just turn one on, and they are really dimm. Well yesterday I installed my GM MAFT setup. I started my car, and was sitting there checking my logger. My little girl was in the car with me. She hit the turn signal lever, and my car started idling high. I didn't know what was going on so I tried it. Everytime I turn on a blinker my idle just startes climbing. Has anyone ever heard of something that crazy. I need some major help to figure out this one.

Have you tried replacing the turn signal fuse/switch?
It's possible you partially shorted it out when you were removing the seatbelts
