ok so i put my header on tonight and noticed the exauhst side of my turbo doesnt look to good on the inside. i want to get a 16g. or should i send it off to get it rebuilt into a 16?? which way do you suggest?..money is an option...

You will outflow the stock injectors once you start turning up the boost. You will probably be ok up to 15psi or so, but anything past that and the injectors will be a restriction.

ok, so without boost controler, or gauge, which i will have after the rebuild, i should be ok till i up the injectors and tuning electronics?

A boost gauge will just show you how much boost you're making. And I would not touch the boost controller until you get a logger. And I would get a logger before I upgraded the injectors and got something to tune with.

If you really want to get into tuning, check out DSMap as it's a cheap system that can do a lot. But, it will require more knowledge than say an S-AFC.

well tuning will be a little later down the road for me. I am really just geting into building the motor and the concept of turbo applications. will i be ok just running what i mentioned before with oem parts? Where do i find this DSMap at?

Yes, just don't turn up the boost very high. Keep it on the lower side and you should be fine until you upgrade injectors.

Do a search on here for DSMap and you should be able to find a good bit of info.

ok, ok. Thanks for all your help guys, i might still keep posting in this thread if i have questions or can i just pm you guys?
