Turbo or Not

ok i didn't know where to post this super noobie question so if posted this in the
wrong area please let know where i should have posted this noob question please i tried

looking up this question with no luck so here goes my question. Ok if you have the same type of car, with the same exact horsepower lets say 200Hp but Car A is 200 Turbo'ed

Horsepower and Car B is NA horsepower which car will win in a race?(1/4 mile race,etc..) sorry if i posted this in the wrong forum but me(95 eclipse gst dsm of cousrse) and my friend ( 98 nissan sentra se-r limited with sr-20, just for your info) are constantly debating on which one would win a NA car with the same Hp as a turbo car and i thought i would ask you guys as you are pretty reallistic when it comes to these types of things anyways please let me know, and we are not comparing my car to his i just thought you guys would like to know which car he had is all!

The N/A motor wont have boost lag, or turbo spoolup time to worry about. All things being equal, including drivers and other vehicle trim the NA would win i believe.




HOWEVER, this is benchracing and not a good idea here.

the turbo would have a slight disadvantage cuz of spooling, but if its from a roll, and the turbo is already at like 3k rpms, it would be really close,... and come down to driver/drag co/weight/ all the other stuff that makes two cars different...

btw drag co wouldnt really mean jack shit, cuz i know you arent planning on bench racing, or speeding,...() and at under 60-70mph drag co would affect your car by about .000000000000000000000001 second....
