Its an ebay turbo no matter what. They are fine at low boost levels but crank them up some more and they wont last long. I had a. Ebey 50 trim that lasted 500 miles after 1000 mile break in. Working on my 2nd super 20g and it has a ton of shaft play after 2500 miles at 24psi. First one made it it 1500 miles at 28psi. I was even nice to this one and broke it in for the first 1000 miles at low boost. I cranked the boost up from 15psi to to 24psi and after 1500 miles im waiting on total failure soon LOL. I will now be using a name brand turbo from now on if that helps. I know its not the same turbo as your asking about but that's just my experience with ebay turbos in gereral. Hope this helps Josh.

Honestly from alot I've read no matter what you doan Ebay turbo will end up crapping out on you. Just like the one I'm rebuilding

Not exactly true ^

I've spoke a lot with some Chinese direct turbo manufacturers, don't ask.

However they use bad quality, heavy metal, and the housings will rust.
You'd have to tear them down completely, port the wastegate hole, and have the rotating assembly rebalanced, among a few other things, and the sad thing about ebay turbos is after you do them all right, you're at about the same price as a genuine turbo.

Mine's ebay, Jusmx built though, that's why it lasts.

Or buy one from Justin. I'm rebuilding my 14B right now, but this might be the first the last one I rebuild. By the time I rebuild this one, I could have sent a pm, paypal'd and had a good turbo mailed to me and installed already.

Many people have had bad luck with ebay turbos (very few exceptions), they are mainly garbage. But, since you are looking on ebay you must be looking to not spend to much. Well, you can look on ebay, but don't buy from any of the powersellers, just look for a good used turbo from a regular user (obviously with good feedback) with little to no shaftplay. 16g's are good and rather inexpensive. A Garrett would be a bi*** to install because you would need way more than just the turbo. Try to go for a used MHI turbo like a 14b, 16g, 18, or even a 20g, but just make sure to check the housings and all.
(pppsst. I got my Big 16g for $220 on eBay with a JDM o2 housing, low miles and no shaftplay)
