I've done some searches and I'm not coming up with anything.
I've just done a balance shaft removal, and have been told that I'll need to relocate the oil feed for the turbo...but I haven't found one thread that gives me some info on it.

Can I just run some SS line right off the oil pump w/ it's own filter? How would I go about doing this?

Its actually recomended to run your turbo oil feed from the head rather then the oil filter housing after a B/S removal.

Are you running a journal bearing turbo or Ball bearing turbo?

Check this out and maybe it will help make your decision.

After smoking 1 turbo prematurly when running off the oil filter housing, I have run ALL my turbos (all of which being journal bearing turbos) off of the head including my Holset HX pro40 for roughly 2 years now with the balance shafts removed. I personally have never had an issue with the head feed so i'll recomend it and continue to run my feed from that location.

Good luck!

Hey....DON'T GIVE UP THE SECRET! SHHHHH! :shhh:

"THING" my ass! You should be living in PA, married to me, and helping me run a DSM shop right about now.

P.S.- Run it to the head. If it's good enough for a 14B from the factory, it's good enough for your turbo. It's not like you couldn't find someone trustworthy enough to rebuild it in the event of a problem.....

It's a big 16g housing with a gt30R compressor...
It's quite a gorgeous piece:

It needs a TD06 or TD06H turbine though to support all that extra airflow you'll be shoving into it now. You'll appreciate the slightly increased lag with your FWD.
