actually the nitrous didnt blow up the car if thats what yer thinking.. I ran low on oil and friend a piston ring, or thats one of my theories.. We still arent sure.. I went through 4 engines in that car..

well, I was sponsored by alot of companies so I got most parts at cost which is like 50% off retail, that helped.. but it really drained my wallet I can tell you that much.. damn shame to cuz I still mis my Celica.. that car was the ****.. there is just something about running a car to 8300rpms that doesnt come to life till 6000 but when it does its a lil beast..

I complete agree. Before my GST, I had a 2000 Civic SI. Motor was built up, plus it had a Zex kit on it.

I loved dropping into second at 70.....I could bang that car up to 9k, and it was soooooo damn smooth. That is one thing I love about Honda motors....you can rev this **** out of them, and they just keep going. They are very very very fun and streetable cars to drive.

Sometimes, I still contimplate selling the GST, buying a 99-00 civic hatch, dropping into a B18C5 motor and build the exterior to look like a CTR..........but, I dont think I could sell my GST, so I am stuck.

This is what I am talking about

Yeah i thought about that too. B18C1 isa great motor to turbo (GSR, correct).

we have a loca tuner here who is running 7.2's in the 1/8 on his Drag III turboed GSR. that would translate into high 11's (on slicks of course).

if I could sell my car, then I would go and get my hatch back....i swear to goodness. But, I cant sell this thing :(

Any buyers? :D

Hmmm... I was thinking of selling my GST and buying A c5 vette, and throwing a 150 shot on it, and be done with it. Can you say 500hp!

Come on guys you should be dreaming of gsx's. I'm mean really honda's are great and everything it's just that everytime you got in the gas boosted or not they don't have the torque of a dsm. You'd know this if you drove one now. Plus dsm's are cheaper believe me or not. 7.2's are impressive but I know he does'nt drive it everyday andthis is not his only car. There was a guy at my dragstrip with a 96 tsi awd that ran 7.40's on a small 16g street tires of course and he drove it everyday because it was his only car. He had a muffler shop 2.5" down pipe a 3" cat and mufller shop 3" catback. The most exspensive thing he had was a front mount. What honda can do that? Oh and the vette thing that just ghey.

I dont dream of a GSX, because I do most of my racing from a roll. But, I still like my DSM. I am not complaining about it.

Like Larry and I said, unless you have experienced it, there is something about banging 8-9k all day long without any problems. Its just nice, thats all.

Oh and the integra that I am talking about is a daily driven GSR.
If I am going to dream of AWD power, then screw the GSX/TSI AWD. I am going to dream about the EVO VII/VIII and the WRX STi when they arrive. When that happens, who cares about DSMs :)

I cant wait. I want just one.......please?

Can you drive the integra 30 miles pull into the staging lanes and run a seven second pass? I know he does'nt run those times without slicks. Can you say the beauty of all wheel drive? I've seen luke (tsi awd) do that many a time. As far as racing at roll goes how fast a roll are we talking 15mph or 80mph. I've been in and raced many an integra rolling from a stoplight and around curves. I've never been impressed with there lack of torque. You can say what you want about an 8-9k rev limiter but the simple fact is torque gets you moving horsepower keeps you moving. I know these cars are fun to drive but these are the cars I try to race because from a light you know that is'nt going to happen and on the highway even moving all 4 axles I put more torque to the ground then they produce at the flywheel.

I would but I enjoy bieng the underdog. There's nothing better than outrunning a car that cost twice as much. I enjoy it because of the look people get on their faces when they get dusted by a 10 year old car that cost 3500 you know what i'm saying

Good point.

Personally, I would rather have a Vector W-10. I always loved those cars......and now this thread as officially been jacked and turned to ****.

We should really get back on track.

I was being sarcastic on the vette thing there dumbass! Watch it! You don't live to far from me young man!

As far as big 16g or fpbigt28 on a 1g I'd slap on the big 16 on a 2g the fpbigt28. Their both great turbo's that have been proven to make power.

I'm still using my stock 2G spark plug wires. Best time so far with my small 16G is a [email protected] with a 1.844 60-ft time. 90.5mph in the 1/8th.

Either the fuel will ignite, or it won't.
