Ok, I am finally here! The hardest decision i have ever needed to make with my car. I have searched and searched and read many posts, but i am still not sure yet. I have been building it and preparing it for a turbo upgrade since i got it. All i need now is a supra fuel pump and port/polished exhaust manifold and then the turbo. So here i am, i need a new turbo. I want something that will get me into the real low 14's. And into the 13's with a Quaife or KAAZ LSD. that will be my next biggest decision. I still want it to be very streetable and reliable, because this is my only car.
But anyway, i want to stay under 850 installed. so 850 including an install kit if needed. i will do the labor myself. I want to here from people tha have had personal experience with both the T28 and the 16g. if you have personal experience with only 1, i would like to here from you also. please post your track times also. But if you had one turbo, and switched to another turbo, please post your thoughts. I am looking at the FPt28, and EVO16g. So any experience you have, please share it. :thumb: thanks for the space.

post a pic please? It may change my mind about what turbo to get. I didnt know you could reuse the heat shield or save your fan blades.
Here's a few pics. I didn't have to to anything to the top heatshield. The bottom one I cut quite a bit off of the driver side of the shield. You can just keep trimming until it fits. I have an O2 eliminator downpipe also.

Yeah, I think it is a roolbar only at 13.99

Then at 11.99 you need a full cage.

4.5 ROLL BAR

Roll bar mandatory in all cars running 11.00 (*7.00) to 11.99 (*7.49) and in convertibles running 11.00 (*7.00) to 13.99 (*8.59), and in dune-buggy type vehicles running 12.00 (*7.50) seconds and slower. Permitted in all cars. See General Regulations 4.10, 10.6.

4.6 ROLL CAGE

Roll cage mandatory in cars running 10.99 (*6.99) or quicker, or any car exceeding 135 mph (217.2 km/h). Full bodied cars, with unaltered firewall, floor and body (from firewall rearward, wheeltubs permitted), running between 10.00 (*6.40) and 10.99 (*6.99) roll bar permitted in place of roll cage. Cars running between 7.50 (*4.50) and 9.99 (*6.39) must have chassis inspected every three-years by the ASN and have a serialised sticker affixed to cage before participation. Must conform to specs for body style used, as listed in General Regulations 4.11, 10.6.
