Not a bad find when you buy a car. T28s are a good upgrade for 2Gs.

As far as boost levels go, you should leave the boost alone until you upgrade the fuel system and get something to tune the fuel with.

If you want to know more about your DSM, this is where you want to be. Just browse the forums, search the forums and check out VFAQ Site - Visual Frequently Answered Questions These sources should give you some VERY good information. :talon:

For starter, MAINTENANCE. Make sure you do all regular maintenance is done, Change all Fluids, check belts/replace if needed, plugs wires. After all that then you can start modding. Your T28 should be good for about 280hp-300hp, the front mount intercooler you got and Im guessing now but you should be good to about 20psi as long as you have the right SUPPORTING MODS, which are.. upgraded fuel pump at least 190 injectors at least a SAFC and something to log your data. Full Exhaust would be a good idea actually would be one of your first mods. Also, check the upgrade paths under the TECH link will give you an idea of what you need and where you want to be.

T28 is good for 380 h.p. actually. T28 responds well to the Forced Performance T28 high pressure wastegate actuator which keeps the wastegate clamped nice and tight. I'd run 15psi or so now, then more when the fuel mods and exhaust are in place.

Not trying to eclipse any one here (excuse the pun) but do you have a boost gauge other than the stock one? If not, thats something your going to want to get soon, the stock gauge is absolutely worthless. you need to know how many pounds your pushing, otherwise if you run too much you will run into detonation, which our cars don't tend to care for very much.

i have some sort of after market exhaust but stops at the down pipe. ### kind of fuel mods would i need i was looking at evo 550 injectors

i do have an aftermarket gauge not sure ### it is but my car was tuned at busher but has no tuning device but right now my boost is at 9psi for winter

There's a couple ways you could go. Cheapest might be an SAFC, 550 injectors, and a Walbro 190LPH fuel pump, datalogger. I haven't tried the SAFC myself but I've run everything from EFI Systems PMS, HKS VPC, and DSMLink. By far DSMLink is the most invisible, easiest to use, includes datalogging, and allows a wide range of fuel injector options. I run 660cc injectors and a rewired 150LPH Denso fuel pump. I haven't had any major fuel supply issues yet with this setup.

also my turbo dosent hit boost till 4000 rpms could that be a boost leak or is that how these turbos are

i looked at the downpipe on bushur and it looks like it only has one flange how would i attach the other half of it
